Our founder, Kathleen Bear, shares an inspiring story of perseverance and vision:
Kathleen Bear hails from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China. Arriving in the United States with just $500 and no connections, she embarked on her journey to pursue the American Dream. Starting from humble beginnings, Kathleen worked tirelessly in various restaurants before becoming a flight attendant for Continental Airlines, where she enjoyed the privilege of flying with one of the best airlines of its time. However, after Continental’s merger with United Airlines, she lost her job—a setback that led to a decade of personal struggle and reflection. Emerging stronger, Kathleen redefined her dream and set out to create something extraordinary. Thus, Bear Air was born—a vision to deliver the best airline experience in the world.
